OceanNex is an open-source project for developers. We believe that managing your cloud infrastructure shouldn't come at the cost of your privacy. That's why we've designed OceanNex to be privacy-first from the ground up.
We don't collect anything. Period.
OceanNex does not have any analytics, telemetry, or tracking code. We don't know who uses the app, how often you use it, or what you do with it. Your usage data stays on your device.
Your DigitalOcean API token is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device except when making direct API calls to DigitalOcean's servers. We don't have access to your token, and we never will.
The only external service OceanNex communicates with is the official DigitalOcean API. All requests go directly from your device to api.digitalocean.com. No proxy, no middleman.
OceanNex is fully open source under the GPLv3 license. Anyone can inspect the code, verify the privacy claims, and even build the app themselves. We believe that's the only way to truly guarantee privacy.
If we ever need to change this policy (which we hope we won't), we'll announce it prominently on our website and in our repository. But our core promise remains: no tracking, no data collection, no surprises.
